We’d booked the Regal Airport Hotel at HKG, which meant we had to go through immigration and “enter” Hong Kong. That proved to be a good decision. Getting in and out was easy, and the hotel is excellent.





We discovered an outlet of Crystal Jade was a seven-minute walk from us in the arrivals hall, and enjoyed a fine dinner at this Michelin-starred restaurant.







And of course some Xaio Long Bao.



We slept well, and arrived early at The Wing, one of Cathay Pacific ‘s famous lounges.

We hope we’re fortified to face the day, as we fly to Jakarta and then onward to Bali.
