We rode our Hop-On Bus down over to the “port” neighborhood and ate lunch at one of the wineries.
After lunch and a little port shopping for Tom and Ellyn, we walked down to the Douro River and took the “six-bridge” boat tour that was part of our Hop-On package.
After nearly an hour of cruising, we walked to another winery and took the tour that was also part of our Hop-On package.
After the tour, we caught a taxi back across the river to our hotel, where we’re packing for tomorrow’s flights to Italy, and putting our feet up after four or more miles of hilly walking.
