We’re now enjoying Happy Hour in their cozy lounge, which offers hot appetizers and free beer and wine, a relatively rare situation at Hilton’s domestic lounges.
We checked in after 3 PM, after spending nearly three hours (and more money than we would have guessed) traveling by train and subway from the Doubletree EWR to the JFK Hilton. It was a fair amount of work, and challenging finding the subway ticket booth at Penn Station after getting off the train. Still, we made it to the Hilton.
